Together with the accidents to two star players, Golden State couldn’t keep up with the Raptors that are electrifying. Kawhi Leonard managed to control making 2019 NBA Finals MVP honors. What’s more, he helped Toronto win it up north.
In Toronto’s 114-110 victory, Leonard scored 22 points From the win. He was a no-brainer for MVP, his second time after being named Finals MVP together with the San Antonio Spurs, earning the honour. He’s only the third player in league history to win NBA Finals MVP with two different teams.
